The TS 314 interface translator has been designed for the connection of SHDSL lines, subjected to risk of overvoltages between the exchange and the user termination.
The translator, vacuum packed, impregnated with insulating resin, guarantees the insulation between the line exchange side and the line user side up to 30 KV a.c.
The insulation (at 500 V) is >10 GW. The TS 314 device is fundamentally constituted by a transformer to high isolation.

For the TS 314 interface translator are available three types of installation:
– One unit TS 314 inserted in a plastic container (model BS 391 Teleco).
– Two units TS 314 inserted in a plastic container (model BS 392 Teleco).
– Two units TS 314 inserted in a 19” rack (model PF 394 Teleco).
