The TH 312 interface translator has been designed for the connection of HDSL lines, subjected to risk of overvoltages between the exchange and the user termination.
The translator, vacuum packed impregnated with insulating resin, guarantees the insulation between the line exchange side and the line user side up to 30 KV a.c.
The insulation (at 500 V) is >10 Gohm. A transformer at high insulation fundamentally constitutes the TH 312 device.

The characteristics of transmission are compatible with the Normative ETS TS 101 135 V 1.4.1 (1998-2).

For the TH 312 interface translator are available three types of installation:
– One unit TH 312 inserted in a plastic container (mod. BS 391 Teleco).
– Two units TH 312 inserted in a plastic container (mod. BS 392 Teleco).
– Two units TH 312 inserted in a 19” rack (mod. PF 394 Teleco).
