The MA 434 Alarms Device, realized in mechanics for rack N3, detects the absence of the power supplies voltages B1 and B2 that are in entry of the sub-rack and it sends the relative alarm both to the DSLAM and to the ALARM OUT port, it collects and sorts the alarms coming from the DSLAM and the EXTERNAL ALARM port.

The MA 434 must be installed in the sub-rack ST 415 and mechanically connected to the structure.The installation of the device occurs without interruption of service.

The Teleco MA 434 has the following interfaces:

– Power supply batteries input: B1 and B2.

– Alarms input from DSLAM: ALARM DSLAM.

– Alarms output towards DSLAM: OUT1 and OUT2.

– Alarms imput: EXTERNAL ALARM IN.

– Alarms Output: ALARM OUT.

– Optical indicators: B1 and B2.
