The AP 677 ADSL/POTS Splitter is used to separate the ADSL signal from the normal telephone signal.

The function of the AP 677 ADSL/POTS Splitter is that of exchange splitter with direct current block (Normative ETSI TS 101 952-1-1). This typology of splitter is used to separate the ADSL signal from the normal telephone signal.
The block diagram of one single splitter is constituted by a block (LPF) with function of low-pass filter, and by a D.C. blocking circuit (condensers).
The AP 677 device has been designed in according to the European Standard ETSI TS 101 952 v1.1.1 (2002-05).
Mechanical characteristics:
– Width: 296 mm.
– Depth: 162,5 mm.
– Height: 32,6 mm.
The AP 677 is made up from two identical printed circuit board, each one containing 16 splitters, for a total of 32 splitters for device.
The AP 677 is a completely passive device and it doesn’t need power supply.
The device is installed inside the ETSI sub-rack of 15 modules TELECO CN 676.
