The multifunction terminal adapters TA625 model and TAA628 model allow the access to the packet communication services (ITAPAC), through the channel D of the base access ISDN, without damaging the normal abilities of traffic ISDN.

The TAA 628 is an evolution of the TA 625 to which it has been added the Absolute functionality and a more effective management of the channel D for the X.25 access.

The TAA 628 is connected to the NT1 or NT1 Plus through the system of distribution at four wires (interface S), that in normal conditions furnishes the power supply voltage of 40 V d.c.

The adapters offer to the DTE terminals, to they connected, logical interfaces of type:

– DTE X.25.

– PAD X.28.

– TOV ARGOTEL.

– SDLC (PU type 2 and 2.1).

– ABSOLUTE (TE ISDN) only TAA 628.

The terminal adapter is inserted in a desktop plastic housing with dimensions:

– Width: 95 mm.

– Depth: 130 mm.

– Height: 28 mm.
