The RP 920 repeater is a regeneration device for ISDN base access that allows the increase of the maximum distance between the ISDN exchange and the user (the length of the distance between LT and NT1).
The concepts on which the operation of the device is based are:
– The regeneration of the signals that transit on the line (NT1 ® LT and LT ® NT1).
– The remote power supply of the network termination NT1 with a voltage produced locally.
The power supply converter of the repeater converts the exchange voltage (38 ¸ 72 V, pos. at ground) in a service voltage suitable for the repeater and the NT1 functioning.
The RP 920 repeater in comparison with other possible solutions is easy to installation and with its modular structure it is expandable for the different necessities.
The device is installed on the Teleco distribution frame rack – mod. TP541.
