The RP 921 repeater is a regeneration device for ISDN base access, supplied by exchange, that allows the increase of the maximum distance between the ISDN exchange and the user (the length of the distance between LT and NT1).
The concepts on which the operation of the device is based, are:
– The regeneration of the signals that transit on the line (NT1 ® LT and LT ® NT1).
– The low power consumption that allows to the exchange to remote power both the repeater and the NT1.
The RP 921 repeater, in comparison with other possible solutions, is easy to install and with its modular structure it is expandable depending on the necessities.
The RP 921 must be inserted on the pre-cabled plates CN 929.4 (four RP921) or CN 929.8 (eight RP921), these plates have been studied to be installed inside the street cabinet or inside the pole boxes of Telecom Italia.
The RP 921 is in according to the European Normative ETSI ETR 080.
