The TD 600E System is an expansion of the TD 600, to which were added Ethernet interfaces and the ability to aggregate traffic on optical fiber.
The TD 600E System is designed and built in the laboratories of TELECO S.p.A. and it is the latest generation of set of devices for digital access networks and it allows to carry E1 and Ethernet connection over 2 or 4 wires, with the ability to change the line speed depending on required traffic and the length of the line section.

The SHDSL Teleco system has many advantages, among which:
– Easy integration into already existing networks.
– Increased reliability (reduced number of components).
– Small size.
– Low power consumption (using low power components).
– Low costs.

The distance reached by the system depends on line speed.

The Teleco SHDSL system can be considered the best way for data transmission in the existing network and permits to avoid the high costs of fiber optic cables or the use of additional cables.

Available interfaces for the Teleco system meet the current standards and provide the following operating modes:
– 2 Mbit/s unframed (to ITU-T G.703).
– 2 Mbit/s framed (to ITU-T G.703/G.704, ISDN-PRA).
– N x 64 Kbit/s (to ITU-T X.21, V.35, V.36).
– Ethernet 10/100Mbit/s electric.
– Ethernet 1000Mbit/s fiber.

The SHDSL Teleco system can be managed through a own software called L.M.S. (Line Management System) and from EM (Element Manager).

The system supports three main types of connection that can coexist on the same platform:
– Transport of TDM streams, classic.
– Transport of TDM streams through PWE3 circuit emulation.
– Transport of Ethernet streams.

The TD 600E System consists of the following devices:
– CN 383: N3 sub-rack with aggregation feature up to 1 GB.
– TS 608.R: LTU/NTU rack device with 8 wires and 4 ETH port with power supply unit + bus to Gbe.
– TS 608.R4: LTU/NTU rack device with 4 wires and 4 ETH port with power supply unit + bus to Gbe.
– UA 643.1: Unit Aggregator 1Gbe (with SFP module) for PWE3 streams.
– UA 643.2: Unit Aggregator 1Gbe (with SFP module) for ETH streams.
– UA 643.3: Unit Aggregator 1Gbe (with SFP module) for PWE3 and ETH streams.
– MA 177E: Rack alarm unit with 2 Ethernet 10/100 access port and 1 local port with SNMP and SSH support.
– TS 607.2E: LTU/NTU rack device 4 channel with power supply unit (4xE1/2F – 2xE1/4F – MIXED -75 ohm) with bus to Gbe.
– TN 338: ETSI N3 rack.
– TS 608.8: NTU desktop device with 8 wires and 4 ETH port.
– TS 608.4: NTU desktop device with 4 wires and 4 ETH port.
– TS 608.2: NTU desktop device with 2 wires and 2 ETH port.
– TS 608.T8: LTU/NTU desktop device with 8 wires and 4 ETH port with power supply unit + rack installation kit.
– TS 608.T4: LTU/NTU desktop device with 4 wires and 4 ETH port with power supply unit + rack installation kit.
– TS 608.T2: LTU/NTU desktop device with 2 wires and 4 ETH port with power supply unit + rack installation kit.
– RP 926: Desktop repeater/regenerator for 1 channel / 4 wires or 2 channel / 2 wires.
– CP 396: Standardized wired case for external SHDSL 4 systems + wall installation kit.

Compatible devices from old TD 600 System:
– TS 605.4: NTU desktop device 2/4 wires + DCE3 X/X (DB37) / G.703 (75/120 ohm) + Connector kit (S 386).
– TS 607.7: LTU/NTU Master/Slave desktop device with power supply unit (4xE1/2F – 2xE1/4F – MIXED – 75 ohm) + Connector kit (S 385).
– TS 607.T: LTU Master/Slave desktop device with power supply unit (1xE1/2F – 1xE1/4F – 75/120 ohm) + Connector kit (S 384).

Warning!:
Old TS 607.2 device (for old TD 600 System) CAN NOT BE inserted into the new CN 383 sub-rack.
New TS 607.2E device, UA 643.x devices and TS 608.R/R4 devices CAN NOT BE inserted into the old CN 380 sub-rack (old TD 600 System).
